We have prepared a comprehensive and detailed report on the Polish and international e-commerce markets for A.pl (a daughter company of Action S.A.). The report contained

  • current and forming trends and
  • technologies (Web 2.0 in particular)
  • which are significant for the creation of modern and functional e-commerce platforms, and an initial specification for community construction around a commercial platform.

We conducted surveys amongst BDO clients, which shed new light on their Internet behaviors and needs. Basing on gathered information, we were able to create a web site fit for an international training and auditing firm, rich in functionality and sporting an extensive system of communication with clients.

Krzysztof Rybiński’s blog is a notebook of an economist, who writes both in English and Polish, and shares his observations on current topics, such as: the monetary policy in modern economy, the role of Chine in global economy, the change in company operations in the global market, and many more. Thanks to the Blog Pulse search engine of the blog the visitor, by the means of a graph, can see how a given article is related to the general trends of the blogosphere. In the future, such trends may become an additional market research tool, as is it suggested by the author in one of his articles.

The web site was built in accordance to the highest standards of ergonomics and community interaction. The construction process was preceded by a detailed survey of the website users' needs, thanks to which we were able to introduce new features of the site, which would include themselves into the Public Relations and marketing strategies of Carrefour, aim to attract new clients and create a community around the web site.

A blend of subtle design and clear information architecture allowed us to create an impression of peace and harmony, something which is characteristic of art galleries, and to include functionality for product sales. Appropriate communication tools ensure constant information flow for the already-existing and potential groups of clients. The whole site is supplemented by a very good position in Internet search engines.

Working closely with the owners of the service, we portrayed and created the new strategies for its development and promotion. Following the created goals we changed the information architecture, which resulted in higher clarity of displayed information and ensured more intuitive service. Good positioning in search engines (Google, Onet, wp.pl) was as valuable in the promotion of the service as parallel press campaign.

Commissioned by the management of the NBP, we have trained members of the highest management in regards of the use of new Internet tools and technologies. Using lectures, case studies and practical tasks, the training supplied useful knowledge on the meaning of new trends in the Internet and the possibilities for their utilization in making strategic economic decisions to its attendees.

The challenge was to design and built the the website within two-week timeframe. For the commissioner of this project CCIFP we created three representations of the service, based on three different promotional graphics used in the press campaign. Website was indexed by major search engine with the record time (two weeks)..
